Fractured Fairy Tales
|
Creative 360
9:00 AM
- 12:00 PM
Denyse Clayton, Kristiina Pilnik, Christine Brillhart, Darcy McMahon,
and mascot “Roger” of the Flying Pig Theatre Academy return with
friends in tow for a riotous series of circus-themed camps. Midland
High School’s drama students lead the only drama camp for students
taught by students. In our 15th anniversary year, Creative 360
co-founder Linda Z. Smith joins the festivities to make this an
unforgettable FUNtastic summer!
What if "Sleeping Beauty" was "Sleeping Ugly" instead? What if the Frog Prince joined the circus? Perform some amazing feats of the imagination when you rewrite fairy tale "history" and then perform your unique new versions of these beloved stories! Instead of a charming cottage, suppose Snow White lived in a flat in the Upper West Side of Manhattan with seven stray cats? How about "The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig"?! The sky's the limit! Hilarity all week long with Denyse Clayton. For ages 7 – 10.
Monday through Friday, July 26 - 30 / 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
$85/80 members plus $10 materials fee
